From Meadows Track Management:
During our break we will have two major projects – a new infield video board installation and track renovation. After discussion with Bruce Smith and the video installer, our plan is as follows, weather permitting:
Video Board and Track Renovation:
- Saturday March 30, 2024 – the track will be closed for training as there will be significant equipment here at 8:00 AM to drill holes, set steel and hopefully pour concrete for the structure for the new board.
- Sunday March 31, 2024 – Easter Sunday – Track Closed to Training and Video Board work.
- Monday April 1, 2024 – Track will be open for training 5:00 AM until 12 Noon. Video Board install will begin at approximately 10:30 AM (Could be shifted), Track Renovations begin at 12 Noon.
- Tuesday April 2, 2024 – Track work will continue in the AM with the goal to have Training begin at 12 Noon. Video Board will still be under construction (mostly electric and data connections)
- Wednesday April 3, 2024 until return to racing on Wednesday April 10, 2024 – Training as normal with continued work on the track. Video board targeted completion by April 6, 2024
Should we be impacted by weather we will make every effort to adjust and to notify everyone as quickly as possible.
