The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association Raises Over $21,000 to Support Chloe & Hayden
The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA) is proud to announce that, through the overwhelming generosity of the harness racing community, over $21,000 was raised to benefit Chloe and Hayden, who tragically lost their fiancé and father, Hunter Myers, in March.
This fundraising effort was made possible through the raffle of two major items, generously donated and supported by key members of our community.
UFO Bikes and Tim Betts contributed a UFO race bike, for one raffle item. The lucky winner of the race bike was Brady Lagace. Additionally, a Pennsburg Jog cart, donated by Andy Rickert, Corey Hendricks, and Spencer & Dana Kahrig, was raffled off and won by Jean Rastetter.
“This is what makes our industry so special,” said Lisa Dunn, President of the MSOA. “We are fierce competitors on most days. But in times of need, our community comes together with incredible heart and generosity.”
The MSOA extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated, purchased raffle tickets, and helped spread the word. Your support made a meaningful difference for Chloe and Hayden during an unimaginably difficult time.
The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA) is a nonprofit organization that represents the interests of approximately 700 Standardbred trainers, drivers, caretakers and owners at The Meadows.
