Washington, PA – The Glamour Boy Division, 3yr old colt and gelding pacers, kicked off the 2025 stakes season at Hollywood Casino at the Meadows Saturday with 3 divisions of the Bye Bye Byrd and 5 divisions of Stallion Series. While the weather had little glamour, these boys lived up to their names.

Odds on Outlier highlighted the first leg of the PA Stallion Series. Peter Wrenn moved the 3-year-old Sweet Lou just before the quarter and from there had his way to storm home 26.4 for trainer Melanie Wrenn and owner OddsOnRacing.

Just as impressive for Odds On Racing was Odds On No Limit who took advantage of a Matt Kakaley pocket trip to grind by leader Stay Focused for victory.

Mike Wilder crafted two Stallion Series using cover trips to put Paxamillion and Damn The Torpedoes in position for closing victories.

As the track was downgraded to sloppy, Hall of Famer David Miller put Hot Kiss on the lead and the Andrew Stafford 3yr old, gelded son of Papi Rob held off Wheelhouse Hanover for his third victory in five starts this season.

Last season the Chris Ryder trainee, Twisted Destiny, was Stallions Series Champ. But after today’s win, now it’s big boy time. With Prince Hal Hanover’s 26.1 lead securing quarter, Dexter Dunn waited till past the ⅝ to move Twisted Destiny, it would take the length of the stretch to get a lifetime best 1.49.1. Railroad Stations’ early gate speed from the rail set up a strong rally for the place spot. The son of Bettor’s Wish is owned by Let it Ride Stables, Alberg Stables and Enviro Stables.

The second division of Bye Bye Byrd featured the most glamorous boy of them all, Dan Patch Award Winner and Breeders Crown Champion, Lou Print. Starting from post 8 over a sloppy track, Ronnie Wrenn Jr. worked his way to the lead nearing the ⅜. An opening half of 54.4 and some company from Dreamboat Hanover did not faze Louprint as he rattled off another 54.4 half to win in 1.49.3 over a hard fighting Dreamboat Hanover.

“From out there, I wanted to take my time and find the right spot for him. It may not have been ideal”, Wrenn said afterwards “but he handled it very well”.

Louprint is owned by Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi, Collura and Karr.

In the third division Dave Palone and Go Go Grasshopper snapped right off the starting car for a quick lead, and after the race was never in question. Cutting his own fractions, Grasshopper would wind up a two-length winner over a well-closing Papi Rocket, in a lifetime best 1.50. Joe Bongiorno trains the son of Sweet Lou for owners Odds on Racing, Let it Ride Stables and JB Racing.

For the day Ronnie Wrenn had 6 wins, and Mike Wilder ended up with a hat trick, with three wins.
