Irish Daydream sat snugly along the cones while the leaders dueled, then shot through the Lightning Lane to spring the 18-1 shocker in Wednesday’s feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, an $11,500 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.

Jillian B Miki had pulled the pocket near the three-quarters to challenge the front-ending Always Gonna B You. But the real danger lurked behind them in third, and when Jeremy Indof pointed her inside, the 6-year-old daughter of Vintage Master-Irish Day poured through the Lightning Lane to score in 1:52.4. Jillian B Miki was 1/2 length back in second while Hillbilyclassygirl rallied for show.

Skylar Tabron trains Irish Daydream, who boosted her career bankroll to $149,983, for Frank Indof and Howard Balis. It was one of three wins for Indof on the 13-race card.
